The Service allows users to upload images of food, which are automatically analyzed using artificial intelligence to identify dishes, ingredients, and provide estimated nutritional information such as calorie and macronutrient values.

All outputs provided by the Service are approximate, AI-generated estimates and may vary depending on multiple factors.

The Service does not provide medical, dietary, nutritional, or other professional advice.

All information generated by the Service is provided for informational purposes only and must not be relied upon for medical, health, or dietary decisions. You use the Service at your own risk.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any breach of security.

The Service is offered on a subscription basis. Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider, Paddle. We do not collect or store payment card information.

If you are under the age of 18, you may purchase a subscription only with the consent and involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

By completing a subscription purchase, you represent and warrant that you have obtained the required parental or legal guardian consent.

MealScan AI is not responsible for unauthorized purchases made by minors without parental consent. Such purchases are subject to the Refund Policy.

MealScan AI operates on a subscription-based model. Please review our refund terms carefully before purchasing a subscription.

• You may request a refund within 14 days of purchase only if the Service has not been used.
• Once a subscription period has started and the Service has been accessed or used, all payments are non-refundable.
• Refund requests must be submitted by contacting us at [email protected].
• All payments are processed by Paddle. Approved refunds will be issued through the original payment method in accordance with Paddle’s policies.
• Unauthorized purchases made by minors without required parental consent are subject to this Refund Policy.

We reserve the right to deny refund requests that do not meet the conditions outlined above.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with our Acceptable Use Policy.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service.

Prohibited Actions You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code or underlying algorithms of the Service.
• Use any automated means (bots, scrapers, spiders) to access or collect data from the Service.
• Use the Service to build a competing product or service.
• Send API requests that exceed reasonable usage limits.

All content, software, and technology used to provide the Service are owned by or licensed to MealScan AI and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You retain all rights to the images and data you upload ("User Content").

However, by uploading User Content, you grant MealScan AI a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, host, store, reproduce, modify, and analyze your User Content solely for the purpose of providing, maintaining, and improving the Service (including AI model optimization).

The Service relies on third-party providers for AI processing, hosting, analytics, and payments. We are not responsible for the availability or performance of third-party services.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind.

We do not guarantee accuracy, reliability, or uninterrupted availability of the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MealScan AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or pose a risk to the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
